Since 2006, J1 Ranch has proudly marketed beef that has been finished exclusively on grass. These cattle are not fed any grain and remain on pasture their entire life.

Should any cattle require antibiotics, they are removed from the program and sold on the commodity market. Our ranch does not use any growth-producing hormones.

Our cattle are harvested at around 26 months of age, and typically have a carcass weight of six hundred pounds. Our beef is available seasonally in the late Spring and early Summer.

We are certified by the American Grassfed Association and are Step 4 in the Global Animal Partnership.
