Basket Flat Ranch is located in the Pacific Northwest, near Battle Ground, Washington. Basket Flat Ranch utilizes the mild, wet climate, longer growing season, and lush pastures to produce a superior, all-natural, grass-fed beef product for your dinner table. We feed our beef animals only grass and clover pasture and locally grown grass and clover hay during the Winter season. We fertilize our pastures with manure and manure compost and avoid the use of chemical fertilizer. We do not use any hormones or anti-biotics and we are a small ranch with tame animals that we personally work with in a low-stress manner. We raise Angus beef (both red and black color), and we are constantly selecting genetics in our breeding stock for the best tenderness, marbling, and steak thickness. We are passionate about raising beef with all-natural techniques and carefully taking care of and stewarding our animals and pastures year after year so we can produce a healthy beef product for our table and yours.
