Dogwood Farm raises all-beef calves from birth. Since 1964, when the herd began as a 4-H project, the primary enterprise has been the production of registered Polled Hereford breeding cattle. Currently producing up to 85 calves annually, the closed cow herd is forage-oriented, selected for its ability to thrive on pasture.
